Thomas began to surf when he was ten years old. After law
school he decided to make his career in surfing rather than a lawyer's office.
With several years' experience teaching in various surf schools, he began the
adventure that set up the first surf camp on the Basque coast, nearly ten years
ago.
He has never regretted taking that challenge, because the
Lagoondy Surf Camp welcomes surfers from all over the world every year, and they
all want to come back for another stay.
A passionate traveler, Thomas has a thousand stories about his
encounters and the waves he has surfed in Australia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and
elsewhere.
When he's not in the water teaching, Thomas gives a lot of his
time to the promotion and organization of surfing in France through local surf
clubs and the French Surfing Federation, where he is a senior judge and
instructor for the French Surf Instructor examinations.
